Ulta haul!

Since I'm a working full-time college student, I rely pretty heavily on sales. If I can find a way to save some money, I'm all for it! This week Ulta is having a 40% off sale for NYX, Physician's Formula, Almay, and Revlon. Naturally, I had to have a seat when I found out. I made a list of all of the products from each brand I wanted to check out, and I set off on my journey.

After practically sprinting to the store, I honed in on the product I was most eager to try: the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. I picked up Milan and Ibiza, with a NYX Lipliner in Peekaboo Neutral and a Revlon Moisture Stain in Sizzling Shanghai to round out my lipgloss/cream/stick/thing purchases. I absolutely love the Revlon Moisture Stain, I'm excited to use the lipliner, but I was SO disappointed by the lip creams! They clumped up in a really weird way, they settle into my fine lines, and felt strange once they dried on my lips! I'm really disappointed and I'm most likely going to return these.
Staying on the NYX train, I definitely wanted to pick up what I think is probably the ONLY product from NYX my CVS doesn't have: their brow gel! I've heard a few people on YouTube raving about this so I was dying to pick it up! I don't have very good luck with brow gels, both drugstore and high-end so I can'ttttt waitttttt to try this.
I've bought the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation before (I'm in 170 Natural Beige) but after not using it for a while I thought it smelled a little funky so into the trash it went. Then, I bought this new one and it smells the same so I'm pretty sure I threw it out for no reason! Oh well, you live and you learn. I wore it today (I went shopping last night) and I remembered how much I enjoy this foundation. It isn't too full-coverage and it looks very natural. It lasted all day and I'm probably going to be wearing this one often.

These last two products I got weren't in the sale, but I'm really excited to try them! This is my first Essence product, and I'm really really excited!! This is their 3D Eyeshadow in #04 "Irresistible Caramel Cream." It swatches beautifully and is half-champagne, half-bronze. It was around $3 so I couldn't pass it up!

Last but not least, a shampoo that I've been really loving lately. The Organix/ogx "Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Shampoo" has been doing some magical things to my hair, along with the matching conditioner! My hair feels a lot stronger, thicker, and healthier since I've started using it so when I saw they sold a larger version for the SAME PRICE!! I just about had heart palpitations. I quickly snatched it up and had a moment of silence for the big conditioner that never was, since the larger size of it was sold out!
It is currently 10:13 PM here in NYC and I've just about had the longest day of my life! The longest I've been able to sit down is just about how long it took me to write this post. I am exhausted, I have to be up at 6 AM, and I still haven't done my readings for Art History tomorrow! The struggle is real, guys. I'll be back next week and let me know what products you're eyeing from this sale! Remember you can use the $3.50 off of $10 coupon and manufacturers coupons too!

P.S. Hiiiii Jhonatan :)
