The Best Eyeliner I've Ever Used

If I had to pick my favorite make-up product, I'd have to say eyeliner! I have rosacea, so it's a very close competition between eyeliner and foundation. I absolutely love the look of winged liner, and I wear it so often that I can get both eyes done in under 5 minutes (are you impressed yet?) I've tried countless eyeliners, drugstore and high-end, in the ultimate hunt for my holy grail eyeliner. I've tried pencils, liquid, and gel liners but my all-time favorite is $12 from Sephora!


The Sephora Collection Long Lasting Eyeliner High Precision Brush is possibly the longest name I've ever seen for an eyeliner, but I love it. It has a brush tip, instead of a felt tip. I definitely prefer brush tips because I've found felt tip eyeliners tend to develop a frayed tip after constant use. I bought this eyeliner after asking a Sephora associate for a matte opaque black eyeliner that doesn't smudge, and this one beat out all of the others she showed me! It's only $12 from Sephora, and I looooove it.

PROS: Very dark black, no disappointing gray payoff! Lasts all day, thin brush, easy to handle.

CONS: I SWEAR THIS IS ALLERGIC TO WATER. Seriously. 

While I don't have any problems with this on a daily basis, if it's raining I already know I'm going to look like a raccoon. The upside to this is that it's really easy to fix your mistakes when applying! If I know it's going to be raining, I don't wear this eyeliner. It's not an issue when it's humid, when I sweat, but if there is literal water in the air or I'm crying then this is running down my face in a oh so cute way. :)

Overall, I will continue to repurchase this (but I'll probably give the waterproof version a try!) I've been using this practically every day since I bought it back in April, and it's still not finished! I've recommended this to so many people and I've never heard a complaint ;)
