e.l.f. Haul & Review: Studio Brushes

Back when I first started using makeup, e.l.f. or (eyelipsface) was one of the first places I went to. Now, about 2 years later, there are still some products that I continue to use that I bought oh so long ago! Elf recently had a 40% off sale for all of their products and I decided it was time to place a much-awaited order. In the end, I ordered 18 products and it only cost me about $38 with tax and shipping. Since reviewing all 18 products at once is a little daunting, they'll be broken down into categories. Today's batch of reviews: the Studio line of Brushes! I already own a few and I love them dearly, so I ordered a few more to try out.

2014 was an amazing year for the beauty industry and it was SO hard to narrow this list down. There were so many products that I discovered this past year, but these have been the most memorable.

2015.

Hey everyone! Welcome to what will hopefully be another amazing year! I can honestly say that 2014 flew by for me and I can't wait to see how 2015 will turn out! While this past year was full of amazing memories and experiences, there are definitely some things that could have gone a little smother. To start this new year off on the right foot, I'm making some new years resolutions that I can actually (hopefully) stick to this year.

Urban Decay's Discontinued "Covet" Dupe!

In the world of high-end makeup, Urban Decay is a household name. Known for the cult favorite Naked palettes, they also have some pretty impressive pencil eyeliners. The 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils are notorious for their long lasting, intense pigmentation. With 40 shades to choose from, and another 6 shades from their Velvet line, there's a slim chance you won't find what you're looking for. The downside to so many shades? They might discontinue some shades to make room for new ones. For those of us that have fallen in love with certain products, the word "discontinued" can cause mass hysteria and have us all running to our nearest beauty supply store.

Disappointing Products

With the insane amount of beauty products I’ve bought in the past two years, it’s safe to say there have been quite a few duds in the bunch. While I’m not saying these products are horrible and should have never existed, they just didn’t work for me, sometimes heartbreakingly so. 

Ulta Gems on the Sales Page!

Things are going a little crazy for me lately (midterms will be the death of me) so a few things have been pushed slightly aside. All in all, I still can't resist checking the "Sale" section at Ulta/Sephora and I loooove finding some great things on there and today is no exception!

My Ban on Make-Up

My biggest weakness is make-up. Ever since I've started wearing make-up about 2 1/2 years ago, I've been on a crazy spending spree and now my credit card bill makes me want to cry lol so I've officially made a pact with my boyfriend that I'm not going to buy ANY more make-up until I've either used up everything I have or it's February. That's right...I'm going 4 months without buying make-up!
