e.l.f. Studio Fan Brush
I've been wanting to get my hands on a fan brush to apply my powder highlight, but either this brush didn't work out for me or I don't like fan brushes. It picked up a LOT of product, sometimes an unnecessary amount, but barely any at all. While is feels soft when you touch it with your hand, it felt a little rough on my cheeks. To be completely honest, this brush is more hassle than it's worth and I don't reach for it, but for $1.80 it was an experiment I don't regret making.
e.l.f. Studio Small Tapered Brush
I already have a tapered brush from Real Techniques, but I wanted a second one because I've been using my first one to highlight AND to set my under-eye concealer with powder. Now, I've been using this brush to set my under-eye concealer, and the other for my highlight. This brush fits really nicely with my under eye area, and it applies product very well. I use this brush every day and I've never had a problem with shedding or losing it's shape.
e.l.f. Studio Angled Blush Brush
This brush is soft, but I'm not too crazy about it. By all means, it look like it would be a great shape to apply blush but it just doesn't work for me. It doesn't seem to apply my blush, and I feel like I'm constantly having to build up a typically easy to apply product. All in all, I don't reach for this often.
e.l.f. Studio Flawless Concealer Brush
All in all, I really enjoy e.l.f.'s studio brushes, with the exception of the fan brush. While they aren't amazing quality, they definitely get the job done and the price is right. I've recommended these brushes time and time again, and I definitely won't be needing to drop any serious cash on high end brushes for quite some time.
